Purchasing a certificate
Rules for using certificates:
1. General Provisions
1.1. A Gift Certificate (the “Certificate”) is a document confirming the right of its holder to purchase goods offered by the Company from its official assortment.
1.2. The Certificate is not a security, legal tender, electronic money, or a stored-value financial instrument.
1.3. The Certificate may be used solely in accordance with these Terms & Conditions.
2. Legal Nature of the Certificate
2.1. The amount paid for the Certificate constitutes a prepaid amount (advance payment) for future purchases of goods offered by the Company.
2.2. The purchase of the Certificate does not constitute a concluded sale contract for specific goods and does not create an obligation to reserve specific items.
3. Scope of Use
3.1. The Certificate may be used to purchase goods available in the Company’s assortment at the time of redemption, at prices valid on the date of purchase.
3.2. The Certificate may be redeemed by:
• the original purchaser, or
• any third party to whom the Certificate has been gifted.
3.3. The Certificate may not be exchanged for cash and may not be resold for commercial purposes.
4. Validity Period
4.1. The Certificate is valid for 6 (six) months from the date of purchase.
4.2. The validity period is established for inventory planning and operational purposes.
4.3. Upon expiry, the Certificate becomes invalid for redemption of goods.
5. Expiry and Refund Policy
5.1. After expiration of the validity period, the Certificate may no longer be used to purchase goods.
5.2. Any unused prepaid amount may be refunded only upon the written request of the original purchaser.
5.3. Refunds, if applicable, shall:
• be processed within 14 calendar days;
• be made using the original payment method, where possible;
• be issued without interest, penalties, or additional compensation.
5.4. The Company reserves the right to request proof of purchase and identity verification prior to processing any refund.
6. Partial Redemption
6.1. If the price of selected goods exceeds the Certificate’s value, the holder must pay the difference.
6.2. If the price of selected goods is lower than the Certificate’s value:
• the remaining balance may be used for future purchases within the validity period;
• partial cash refunds of remaining balances are not provided.
6.3. Refund of the remaining balance is possible only in case of full refusal to use the Certificate, subject to Clause 5.
7. Limitations
7.1. Certificates cannot be combined with other promotional vouchers, discounts, or loyalty programs unless explicitly stated by the Company.
7.2. Lost, stolen, or damaged Certificates are not replaceable unless otherwise required by mandatory law.
8. Returns and Consumer Rights
8.1. Goods purchased using a Certificate are subject to the same warranty, return, and exchange policies as goods purchased by other payment methods.
8.2. Nothing in these Terms limits the consumer rights granted under:
• UAE Federal Law No. 15 of 2020 on Consumer Protection, and
• its Executive Regulations.
9. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
9.1. These Terms & Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United Arab Emirates.
9.2. Any disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the competent courts of the Emirate in which the Company is licensed, unless otherwise required by mandatory law.
